Invasive Plant Removal on U of M North Campus
The University of Michigan Chi Epsilon, civil engineering honor society, student volunteers remove invasive plant species from the North Campus woods. Removing invasive species helps to promote the growth of native plant species and a healthier watershed. Students have worked in the spring and fall to help control Buckthorn and Honeysuckle, two commonly found invasive shrubs in the Millers Creek watershed.
